Privacy policy

This site is run by Lintel, a web design and development studio working remotely across the UK. Lintel decides what happens to the details you send through it, which makes us the controller of that information under UK data protection law. The contact details at the foot of this page reach us directly.

The audit form asks for your name, email address and website URL and, optionally, which service you are interested in and a message. Nothing else is collected through it, and no field is passed to an advertising network.

Our host records standard server logs when a page is requested, including IP address, browser and page URL. These are used to keep the site running and secure.

To prepare and send the audit you asked for, and to reply to you about it. If you become a client, the same details are used to run the project.

The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Resend delivers the email that carries your enquiry to us. Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the form that receives your enquiry and keeps the server logs. Both act as processors on our behalf, and neither uses your details for their own purposes.

We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Turning on Spec mode stores a single on/off value in your browser for that tab only; it never leaves your device and is not used to identify you.

Enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, then deleted. Project records are kept for as long as we work together, and for six years afterwards where tax and accounting rules require it.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will act within one month.

If you think we have handled your details badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
